Northeast US Road Trip 2022 - Dear Diary by Lyra - Day 2

Title: The First Adventure (From Lyra's Perspective)

I woke up and then played on my phone for ages as it was 3am. Then (FINALLY) my family were all awake so I got dressed for the day. Although, I was wearing a skirt and there may be a climbing frame there (and trees to climb...) Anyways, we met my Nana and Grandad at breakfast and then we got to DINE!

After that we went to a supermarket and I felt over the moon as there were pop tubes for only $1! Just so you know I love fidgets but I have never got a pop tube. I instantly bought it and was left with $20.50. Next we went to Dunkin' Donuts and I got a hot cocoa (Zaria may have got to try coffee for the first time but I'm the main character so we are moving on)! We met Alaina, Dad and Grandad back at the hotel. Then I went to my Nana's room for a bit.

After that we got in the car and drove to a place with flowers which was an ok place but I will skip to the funnest part, there was a small splash place and a carousel. Alaina begged to go on 3 times!

After that we went to check out a beach and there was the most satisfying mud ever (Also my dad held a crab but remember I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER)!

Next we went home and then then got into fancy clothes before heading to a restaurant and guess what... I GOT LOBSTERRRRRRR!!! ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏғ ᴍʏ ᴅᴀᴅs ᴘʟᴀᴛᴇ... anyways after that we went home and my grandparents looked after us. Zaria gave my Grandad and I a logic puzzle and we solved it together! Then I went to bed!
